Description
This piece is made using a combination of techniques, including hand-cut sections of fused glass, enamels and hand-drawn marks.
The glass is fused in a kiln at approximately 800 degrees, allowing the different colours and elements to merge together. It is then cooled and laminated onto 6mm safety glass.
This is a technique I have developed through my own practice. The piece also includes several handmade three-dimensional orange flowers, which are laminated onto the surface of the glass, adding another layer and dimension to the work.
Size: 1000mm diameter fused glass circle, laminated onto 6mm toughened glass, overall 1200mm
