Description: Bella Yellow was created inspired by the yellow dress in Poor Things.
This quirky film with Emma Stone was uncomfortable to watch yet intriguing, an
amazing mind warp, it was cringeworthy, funny and full of experimentation, that set
the tone for creating a response to the Yellow Dress.

Playing with the hypnotic movement of water in a translucent porcelain bowl this
piece refers to Bella’s suicide at sea.

It’s feather light structure precariously balances on the edge of a heavy dark swell
and a glazed yellow flower perches on the rim.
Playing with balance, danger, vulnerability and strength to create this sculpture of
contrasts.
